Katniss Everdeen, girl on fire, has survived, even though her home has been destroyed. Gale has escaped. Katniss's family is safe. Peeta has been captured by the Capitol. District 13 really does exist. There are rebels. There are new leaders. A revolution is unfolding. It is by design that Katniss was rescued from the arena in the cruel and haunting Quarter Quell, and it is by design that she has long been part of the revolution without knowing it. District 13 has come out of the shadows and is plotting to overthrow the Capitol. Everyone, it seems, has had a hand in the carefully laid plans -- except Katniss. The success of the rebellion hinges on Katniss's willingness to be a pawn, to accept responsibility for countless lives, and to change the course of the future of Panem. To do this, she must put aside her feelings of anger and distrust. She must become the rebels' Mockingjay -- no matter what the personal cost.

Why I haven't read this book yet?

Alright, I know most of you are looking at your computer screen wondering what in the world is wrong with me, right? Well here is why I haven't read this book.  Catching Fire isn't a book that I really enjoyed.  To put it nicely I really didn't like the book at all and I'm not really sure why which makes it so much more messed up for me.  I loved The Hunger Games, but the second book just was lacking something for me and I had to make myself finish it once I got started.  So I'm trying my best to just take a different look on Mockingjay and think this is going to be a better one.  But on the other hand I'm not sure it is going to be better.  So that is why I've been so hesitant to read it.

What I Plan On Doing?

So, with all that being said after seeing Catching Fire in the movies, which I loved, I now want to read Mockingjay really badly. So what should I do? Right now I'm reading some Christmas books and not sure I want to sit these aside to read Mockingjay.  What do you all think?

What Do You All Think I Should Do?

Should I push the Christmas books  to the side and read Mockingjay? Am I crazy for not reading this sooner? Is it going to be better than Catching Fire?

All of these questions have been going around and around in my head for a few weeks, well since I saw the movie.  So please help me answer these.

Please leave me some comments below and let me know what you think I should do.  I'm a bit torn on this one and have no idea what I should do.
