February TBR Pile

So I'm ready to reveal what I plan on reading in Feruary.  I'm actually early with this post for once.  Go me! But anyway, below is the books that I plan on reading and I also have a few ebooks to add to the list and a few tour books as well.  I'm excited!

First set are actual books that I have that I can pick up and read! I love having an actual book in my hands.  Just sayin.

A few of these are review books from Scholastic and two of them are books that I've had on my shelf for a bit and I really want to get to them. Both of them are the books I pulled out of my TBR jar for Feb.

All Fall Down by Ally Carter
When My Heart Was Wicked by Tricia Stirling
The Eye of Minds by James Dashner
Graceling by Kristin Cashore
Nnewts by Doug TenNapel (Book One)

Now this next set are books for a tour that is coming up in March.

Essence by A.L. Waddington
Enlightened by A.L. Waddington
Perception by A.L. Waddington

There are a few other ebooks that I would like to read, just not sure I will have enough time in the month.  So I'll show them in March instead.

Take a Break Watch This Vid

Take a Break Watch this Vid is a post that I have her on Ali's Bookshelf from time to time.  It showcases a lot of book trailers or movie trailers that I'm excited to see/read. Today is no different.  Today I have the book trailer to author Kristen Simmons (You all know I love her!) new book The Glass Arrow.  I've read this book and it's fantastic.  It comes out February 10th so make sure you get your copy! You will love it.

I hope you enjoyed this book trailer as much as I did.  I'm super excited about the books release.

Teaser Tuesday #52

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teaser.

I asked their forgiveness time and again for my anger, but I suspect Lief won't be the only one who will have Guinea pepper Eaten when he passes. And though it pains me, he needed to understand how the court works. I won't kill another friend. I wouldn't survive it.

I'm loving this book so far, hope you enjoyed the teaser.

It's Monday...What Are You Reading?

It's Monday! What Are You Reading is hosted by Book Journey!

It's time for my Monday post.  Below you will find what I plan on Reading for this week.   It's going to be a light week of reading.  Got a lot going on.  But I really want to read the book below!

What I'm Reading Today

 Title: The Sin Eaters Daughter
Author: Melinda Salisbury
Publisher: Scholastic Press
Expected Publication Date:  February 24th 2015

Seventeen-year-old Twylla lives in the castle. But although she’s engaged to the prince, Twylla isn’t exactly a member of the court. She’s the executioner. As the Goddess embodied, Twylla instantly kills anyone she touches. Each month she’s taken to the prison and forced to lay her hands on those accused of treason. No one will ever love a girl with murder in her veins. Even the prince, whose royal blood supposedly makes him immune to Twylla’s fatal touch, avoids her company. But then a new guard arrives, a boy whose easy smile belies his deadly swordsmanship. And unlike the others, he’s able to look past Twylla’s executioner robes and see the girl, not the Goddess. Yet Twylla’s been promised to the prince, and knows what happens to people who cross the queen. However, a treasonous secret is the least of Twylla’s problems. The queen has a plan to destroy her enemies, a plan that requires a stomach-churning, unthinkable sacrifice. Will Twylla do what it takes to protect her kingdom? Or will she abandon her duty in favor of a doomed love?

What I Plan On Reading This Week:

 Title: Darkfever
Author: Karen Marie Moning
Publisher: Dell
(I'm going to finish this one this week.  Have been trying to finish it for a while and haven't had the chance.)

"My name is MacKayla, Mac for short. I'm a sidhe-seer, one who sees the Fae, a fact I accepted only recently and very reluctantly. My philosophy is pretty simple - any day nobody's trying to kill me is a good day in my book. I haven't had many good days lately. Not since the walls between Man and Fae came down. But then, there's not a sidhe-seer alive who's had a good day since then." When MacKayla's sister was murdered, she left a single clue to her death, a cryptic message on Mac's cel phone. Journeying to Ireland in search of answers, Mac is soon faced with an even greater challenge: staying alive long enough to master a power she had no idea she possessed - a gift that allows her to see beyond the world of man, into the dangerous realm of the Fae. As Mac delves deeper into the mystery of her sister's death, her every move is shadowed by the dark, mysteriou Jericho...while at the same time, the ruthless V'lane - an alpha Fae who makes sex an addiction for human women - closes in on her. As the boundary between worlds begins to crumble, Mac's true mission becomes clear: to find the elusive Sinsar Dubh before someone else claims the all-powerful Dark Book - because whoever gets to it first holds nothing less than complete control both worlds in their hands.

So there is my list for this week, what are you planning to read? It's been a while since I've actually got to read for fun, so this is going to be a great week.

Dear Readers: What's Been Going On With Me

Dear Readers,

So as most of you already know, my life has been a bit crazy lately and that's the main reason I haven't really blogged on here much.  That's about to change, like I promised at the end of 2014.  Last year, was one filled with sadness for me.  My parents house burned down, broke up with a long time boyfriend and well at the end of 2014 I felt pretty bummed. I didn't feel like blogging or working at all and I let a lot of things drop to the waste side.  For that I am sorry, I love this blog and I love my authors.

But at the very end of 2014, I ended up starting my company back up for marketing for authors, this time using my actual last name to set it up.  Justice PR was born and I started promoting authors, which is something that I really love doing.  Also a guy that I've had a thing for since I was like twelve got a hold of me on Facebook and well we've been dating for a bit now.  (I don't like to share about my love life so let's just leave it at that.)

About a month or two later, I had an author come talk to me and asked if I still wanted to move into Literary Agent and I had been thinking about it for a year or two.  It had been the plan for Jitterbug, but after a good thinking period, I agreed and Justice Literary was born.
