Could you handle life in the spotlight? Julia Alexander is a quiet girl from a small town. Content to spend her days with her small group of friends and a pile of books, Julia thinks her future is set. When she unexpectedly meets Chase, a fellow college student and budding musician, she is unaware of just how drastically things are about to change. Suddenly thrown into the limelight, her life is no longer her own. Relentlessly followed by the paparazzi, Julia is forced to make tough decisions about fame, love, family, and relationships. But just how much will Julia have to sacrifice to become invisible...

So where do I begin with this one...I guess I should start off by saying how much I really enjoyed this book.  It is very different from what I've been reading with all the fantasy I've been reading, so I really did enjoy the change of genre.

This story is mainly about being thrown into the spotlight.  Not many people handle being in the spotlight very well especially when your love life is the thing in the spotlight.  I really liked how well put together and planned out this story is.  It spans throughout a long period of time but it seems effortless (Even though I know its now).  The plot is full of emotions and the characters flow perfectly together.  You can feel the chemistry in their bond while reading the story.

I've read a few of Karen's children's books and loved them, so when I was asked to read/review this one I jumped at the chance and I wasn't disappointed.  Karen's writing style creates the story in front of your eyes and you can see each and every detail.  I would highly recommend this book to all my reader friends.

I will say this, it's not every day you get to take a glimpse into what actually happens in a celebrities life and this story does just that.   I will tell you now though, the ending is a real tear jerker so fair warning have a box of tissues ready, wait you better make that two.

I would have to give Chasing Invisible by Karen Pokras Toz a:

Plot: 20/20 It flowed perfectly!
Characters: 20/20 Loved Julia and Chase.
Writing: 19/20 Written in a way that made you fall in love with the story.
Creativity: 19/20 Loved how this book isn't like all the others out there.
Ending: 10/10 I cried my eyes out! Seriously fair warning.
Cover: 10/10 Love the color.
