2019 Tackle My TBR Challenge

I loved this challenge this past year and can't wait to start in 2019! I actually finished this challenge and read a lot of my TBR books that I had been wanting to read. So I of course, jumped at the chance to participate in this challenge once again.

If you would like more information about this challenge you can head over to KimberlyFaye Reads by CLICKING HERE!

This year there are levels to choose from and I'm going for the Blitz level at 13 books! I think that's pretty doable and

Challenge Details

  • The 2019 Tackle My TBR Challenge runs January 1, 2019 – December 31, 2019. You can join at any time.
  • The goal is to read at least ONE book from your TBR every month. It can be an ARC, ebook, audiobook or print – your choice. Any reading is good reading!
  • If one TBR book a month isn’t enough, set your goal higher! Do you think you can read five a month? Ten? Go big or go home! Just for fun, I’ve added some levels below.
  • You don’t have to be a blogger to participate. You can track your progress on Goodreads, Insta, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube… wherever you want!
  • Use #TackleMyTBR2019 on social media.
  • Feel free to use the banner graphic on your posts and/or social media.
  • Link up below to declare your intentions.
  • Tell your friends!

There's also going to be monthly read-a-thons and challenges! I'm super excited for both of these. The monthly challenge looks great.

Again I will be adding this challenge to my challenge page for 2019, as soon as I pick one more challenge for the year. I think I really want to do one that has a bingo board but not sure which one yet. Anyway, I'm not posting a TBR for this challenge just like all the others, because it just doesn't work for me that way. I will add the books I read for each challenge on the Challenge page as I read them.

Audiobook Challenge 2019 Signup

2019 Audiobook Challenge

I'm excited to add the Audiobook Challenge for 2019 to my Challenge list. If you didn't know this fantastic challenge is hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer and Hot Listens. Pretty much this challenge is exactly what it sounds like, all you have to do is listen to audiobooks. Now my main goal for this challenge is below and if you're participating in this one, let me know in the comments. Maybe we can buddy listen to a book or two.

If you would like more information on this fantastic challenge, you can CLICK HERE.

Alright now for my goals for this challenge. I'm shooting for the Stenographer (can listen while multitasking) 10-15 audiobooks. I'm pretty sure I can achieve this goal pretty easily. I did listen to over 10 of them in 2018, so cross your fingers for me I'm going to try to do the same in 2019!

I won't be posting a TBR post for this challenge, due to me being such a mood reader, but I'm going to list the ones I listen to on my main Challenge page for 2019 as soon as I have it finished. (I'll link the page as soon as it's finished! I have a few more challenges to add to it!)

Anyway, I hope you all have a great day and as always...

Beat the Backlist 2019 Challenge

I'm going to give this challenge a shot!  This challenge is hosted over at Novelknight. If you want to know more about this challenge you can click the link above.

Reading my backlist is something I've been struggling with in the past couple of years so let's do this. My backlist is huge and you all know I don't do well with challenges where I post my TBR so I'm not going to really do that here. I am however going to give a number goal for this challenge and then once I've got my challenge page up for the year I'll add the names of each book that I read there. There are some other great mini challenges with this one and I can't wait for those. There is a place where you can declare your Hogwarts house and as you read collect points for your house throughout the year, you all know I'm going to be doing that! Anyway, below are my goals for this one and of courses me declaring my Hogwarts house.

Here's my only problem with that, I have to pick the one I want to use, I'm a mixture of both Griffindor and Ravenclaw, but for this challenge I think I'm going to go with Griffindor.

There is also a photo challenge that's part of this one and I'm hoping to participate in that as well, we shall see! Anyway, here is my main goal for the Beat the Backlist 2019 Challenge.

For this challenge I think I'm going to put my goal at 20 books! I want to get to at least 20 of my backlist this year. I think that's doable, what do you think?

2019 Discussion Challenge Sign Up!

I'm super excited to participate in this challenge again in 2019. I did for the first time in 2018 (This year!) and I loved it. So I can't wait to start again.  2019 Book Blog Discussion Challenge hosted by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction and Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight!

It's pretty simple all you have to do is post discussion posts on your blog. They can be about any topic, I usually posted things that pertained to blogging or books, but this year I'm going to add my lifestyle and homeschool posts to this one! So it should be fun.

The levels of this challenge are pretty simple and this past challenge I only chose to challenge myself with 10, I ended up doubling that one the blog, so this year I'm going to go for 25! I'm pretty sure I can post that many and might even change my amount as we go along. The only problem I had in 2018 was to remember to link them to the montly update page of the challenge. So in 2019, I'm hoping to make sure I do that every month.

I will be adding this challenge to a 2019 challenge page, I'll be creating soon with all the challenges I choose to participate in 2019!

The Levels:

1-10 – Discussion Dabbler
11-20 – Creative Conversationalist
21-30 – Chatty Kathy
31-40 – Terrifically Talkative
41+ – Gift of the Gab

My goals for this challenge is to post at least 25 discussions throughout the year and to make sure I link up each challenge post to the monthly post!
