Book Club Check In: Alienated

It's time to check in with everyone!   How are you all doing with reading Alienated by Melissa Landers? I wanted to post a short post and seeing if you all are enjoying the book or what you think so far.

I'm 86 pages in and so far I'm really enjoying this book.  I can't wait to read more, but I'm trying to keep with  86 pages a week.  Seeing as I have so many other books to read that is, but so far that's been a bit hard.  I want to jump right back in and read what happens next. I love books when they are like that, the ones that you don't really want to put down even if you have to cook dinner.  Doesn't happen too often, but when it does I usually fly through the book.  

So what are your thoughts so far? Do you like the book?

Ali's Book Club: Revamp and February's Book

I'm super excited about this post and the revamp of the book club.  It's been awhile since our last book discussion and I for one can't wait for the next.  The Goodreads group has been set up and Februray's book has been added, but for those that aren't part of the group yet, we will be reading...

Alienated by Melissa Landers

Two years ago, the aliens made contact. Now Cara Sweeney is going to be sharing a bathroom with one of them.

To Join In The Fun 

To join in, mainly you need to be part of the Goodreads group that I linked above.  After that make sure you get you a copy of Alienated, either buy a copy or get one from your local library.  We will start reading on February 1st and during the whole month will be discussing the book and our  thoughts as we go on the group. 

You can also join the Facebook group and share your progress as you read. 

Then on March 12th at 8 PM EST, we will be having a live discussion about the book.  I would love it if you could join us and read this fantastic book with us.   I will let everyone know more about the live discussion when it gets closer to the date.  Not sure if we are going to do a live google discussion or Skype.  Last time we did Skype and it didn't work very well.   

Anyway, I love book clubs and I can't wait to read Alienated with all of you!!

Book Club Live Discussion: Legend by Marie Lu

Come Read With Us: August Book Selection for Book Club

So, I'm finally getting back to the Book Club and for August we have picked Legend by Marie Lu.  If you would like to read this book with us, feel free to join in the fun.  We have a group on Goodreads and we will be doing a live Google Video chat at the end of the month! 

We have it broken down into three chunks for this month.  This book isn't very long, it's 305 pages so it really shouldn't take to long to read.We will post the date of the live Video chat on the Goodreads group, the chat will be later on toward the end of the month.

Book Club: Live Discussion (Partials)
