2016 Blogger New Years Challenge: Day 9

For those of you that don't know this amazing challenge that I participated in last year is hosted by the amazing and wonderfully talented Parajunkee.  I'm excited to participate again this year and honestly I hope it kicks this year off with some great blogging habits.  I really feel like I failed last year and had the biggest reading and blogging slump I've ever had.  So I'm hoping to change that this year.

Day 9: Your Favorite 2015 Blogger Moment

 

 

 Since my 2015 Blogger life was pretty much a bust, I'm not sure what my favorite blogger moment would be.  I guess I would have to say coming back after such a bad year.  Other than that I did finish my reading goal last year so that's another great thing.  I'm hoping this year isn't such a bust and I can get a lot of great posts and reviews on the blog this year.

 Today's Topic is: Share a Holiday Tradition 

Well my favorite holiday tradition is one I get to celebrate with my kids.  Our family Christmas is on Christmas Eve, so on the night before Christmas Eve, my kids and myself sit down and watch The Polar Express together and I give them new pjs to wear.  After that we read The Night Before Christmas.  Then of course it's time for them to go to bed and for me, I mean Santa, to put out the presents.  

I love this tradition and actually as I type this, The Polar Express is on my TV!

Mini Blog Ahead Challenge

Mini Blog Ahead two week challenge is a 2 week version to help get everyone ready for Summer vacation!  I'm super excited about this challenge mainly because I've been trying to do this and keep up with it, but here lately I have failed at it.  So I'm going to join this mini challenge and see what I can do to change that.  This challenge is being hosted by Herding Cats & Burning Soup.

If you would like to join in, here is the information for you. 

The Goal!

To create a 2 week blogging buffer by increasing your total number of scheduled blog posts by 14. 

Example:

If you start the challenge with 20 scheduled posts... 

you finish the challenge with 34 scheduled posts.

What Counts??   

Any posts that are completely finished and ready to go live.

This can be weekly memes like Waiting on Wednesday, Cat Thursday, book/product reviews, author guest posts, discussion topics, etc. 

They don't have to be book related. 

Who Can Join?

Anyone! Really. New to blogging or seasoned bloggers.

It's fine if books aren't your main theme.

It's even okay if you don't think you can hit 14 extra scheduled posts in 2 weeks. 

Even if you only get 1-2 extra posts scheduled that's still a great thing, right?
