August TBR

I've been trying not to post as many TBR lists as possible the past couple of years. I've always had a hard time sticking to them, mainly because I never know what I'm going to be in the mood to read. This month though, I'm going to try really hard to stick to this one. Two of the books are from my Sittin On The Shelf posts and if I don't finish them this month I have to unhaul them...OMG did I really just say that? Anyway, below is the books I plan to read this month.

 For Review:

Dating the It Guy by Krysten Lindsay Hager
Winner by Belle Brooks

Sittin On The Shelf Books:

What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen
Brightest Kind of Darkness by P.T. Michelle

Other Books I Plan to Read

Courted by Jennifer Chance
Drawing the Line by Kimberly Kincaid
The Simplicity of Cider by Amy E. Reichert

I'm hoping to get through all of these! Especially the Sittin on the Shelf ones, I don't like to unhaul books! Anyway, what are you reading plans for August?

BookTube-A-Thon TBR

So BookTube-A-Thon starts next week and I'm super excited to participate again. Even though I'll be traveling one of the days, I still want to get some reading finished throughout the whole thing. So one of my books will be an audio book (Of course lol). I'm also going to try to get through the reading challenges just not sure that will happen, but hey it's a goal right? Anyway, it's time to show the books I plan to read.

Let's talk about the reading challenges first!

  • 1. Read a Book with a Person on the cover.
For this challenge I chose the book that I'm adding to my Sittin on the Shelf Challenge for next month.  Which clearly has a person on the cover!

  • 2. Read a Hyped Book
For this one, I had to think about it for a few minutes. I have so many books to read that would work for this one, but in the end I chose one that I had heard so much about when it came out and I have been dying to start it.

  • 3. Finish a Book in One Day
For this challenge I'm going to do this one for my audio book and the day I'll be traveling. It's also a hyped book lol.

  • 4. Read a Book About a Character Whose Really Different Than You
Since again, I'll be traveling on Tuesday, I'm going to add another audio book to this list since The Lightning Thief isn't that long.  I have a sixteen hour drive that day so the this challenge will cover the second book.

  • 5. Finish A Book Completely Outside
For this book I'm hoping I'll be home and can finish this on my front porch. It's only 104 pages so it won't be too bad!

  •  6. Finish a Book You Bought Because of the Cover
I don't usually buy books just because of the cover, but this book was one that I bought at #RAGT2017 and I loved the cover and of course the author. So I guess it counts right?

  • 7. Finish 7 Books in 7 Days
Not sure I can finish all 7, but like I said I'm going to try really hard. The last book is a really short one and even the author called them Netflix books lol. I've already finished the first and I think it's time to read the second.

Summer Reading TBR

Let's talk Summer reading goals/tbr. I'm going on vacation for pretty much three weeks next month and I'm super excited to do so. I'm really hoping to get some reading while I do so and I really want to make a dint in my reading goal for the year. So below is the list of books I'll be taking with me on vacation and my reading goals after!

On Vacation:

Lucky In Love by Kasie West

I have two copies of this beautiful book. I have the arc and a finished copy.  So I'll be taking one of them with me to read. It's one of the two actual books I'm taking along with me on vacation. I love Author Kasie West's books and her books are always fun reads, perfect for vacation.

 All About Mia by

If I don't finish any of these on vaction I'll be reading them when I get back. Each of them are on my must read list so you'll be seeing them here on the blog. Now for a few other books I want to read this summer after vacation! I'm only going to show a few of them, but here we go.

So there you have it, my Summer TBR! I'm so excited about all of these books. Four of the ones above are ones that I have recieved from Owlcrate but haven't had a chance to read them. So the plans are to finish them by the end of the summer. I hope you all have a great weekend and as always...

December TBR

I seriously have no idea where this year has gone, so much has happened, some good and some terrible, but it's almost over.  Can you believe it?

I haven't posted one of these in awhile, but I've been thinking about this blog and what I want it to be in the upcoming year. One of which is to revamp. So this next month I'm going to be changing up the posts and adding new things. Piece by piece I'm hoping it will all come together.

The first step is changing up the posts, I want to get back to posting more and not just the same old same old either, I want some fresh new posts. I want to also share my life with you. So get ready readers, this upcoming year is going to be a fun one.

Anyway, let's get back to sharing what we're reading.  Here is my list of books that I want to read this month.  First up are a few of the Christmas ARC's that I received from Netgally.

Twelve Days of Christmas by Debbie Macomber
A Wedding for Christmas by Lori Wilde

I'm Also Reading...

Unlucky in Love by Maggie McGinnis
Christmas in Paris by Anita Hughes

I'm hoping to get through all of these and maybe a few more. We shall see! So what are you reading this month?

May TBR

So it's that time again, time to figure out what I plan on reading this month.  This month, I've picked a few books that I've been wanting to read and a few books that are for challenges.  So let's get to it.

Challenge Books

Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick (TBR Challenge)

A SACRED OATH
A FALLEN ANGEL
A FORBIDDEN LOVE

Romance was not part of Nora Grey's plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how hard her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch comes along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Patch draws Nora to him against her better judgment.

But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is and seems to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

For she is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost Nora her life.

This book has been on my TBR list for years, so I can't wait to read it.  The rest of the series is on my list for this challenge as well.

A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray (TBR Challenge and This months TBR Challenge Book Club pick)

Cloud Atlas meets Orphan Black in this epic dimension-bending trilogy by New York Times bestselling author Claudia Gray about a girl who must chase her father's killer through multiple dimensions.

Marguerite Caine's physicist parents are known for their groundbreaking achievements. Their most astonishing invention, called the Firebird, allows users to jump into multiple universes—and promises to revolutionize science forever. But then Marguerite's father is murdered, and the killer—her parent's handsome, enigmatic assistant Paul— escapes into another dimension before the law can touch him.

Marguerite refuses to let the man who destroyed her family go free. So she races after Paul through different universes, always leaping into another version of herself. But she also meets alternate versions of the people she knows—including Paul, whose life entangles with hers in increasingly familiar ways. Before long she begins to question Paul's guilt—as well as her own heart. And soon she discovers the truth behind her father's death is far more sinister than she expected.

A Thousand Pieces of You explores an amazingly intricate multi-universe where fate is unavoidable, the truth elusive, and love the greatest mystery of all.

A Girls Guide to Moving On by Debbie Macomber  (Netgalley and Edelweiss Challenge)

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • In this powerful and uplifting novel, a mother and her daughter-in-law bravely leave their troubled marriages and face the challenge of starting over. Leaning on each other, Nichole and Leanne discover that their inner strength and capacity for love are greater than they ever imagined.

When Nichole discovers that her husband, Jake, has been unfaithful, the illusion of her perfect life is indelibly shattered. While juggling her young son, a new job, and volunteer work, Nichole meets Rocco, who is the opposite of Jake in nearly every way. Though blunt-spoken and rough around the edges, Rocco proves to be a dedicated father and thoughtful friend. But just as their relationship begins to blossom, Jake wagers everything on winning Nichole back—including their son Owen’s happiness. Somehow, Nichole must find the courage to defy her fears and follow her heart, with far-reaching consequences for them all.

Leanne has quietly ignored her husband’s cheating for decades, but is jolted into action by the echo of Nichole’s all-too-familiar crisis. While volunteering as a teacher of English as a second language, Leanne meets Nikolai, a charming, talented baker from Ukraine. Resolved to avoid the heartache and complications of romantic entanglements, Leanne nonetheless finds it difficult to resist Nikolai’s effusive overtures—until an unexpected tragedy tests the very fabric of her commitments.

An inspiring novel of friendship, reinvention, and hope, A Girl’s Guide to Moving On affirms the ability of every woman to forge a new path, believe in love, and fearlessly find happiness.

 Still Reading or Listening

Right now I'm still reading and listening to two books.

Unraveling (Audiobook) by Elizabeth Norris (TBR Challenge)

Sixteen-year-old Janelle Tenner is used to having a lot of responsibility. She balances working as a lifeguard in San Diego with an intense academic schedule. Janelle's mother is bipolar, and her dad is a workaholic FBI agent, which means Janelle also has to look out for her younger brother, Jared.

And that was before she died... and is brought back to life by Ben Michaels, a mysterious, alluring loner from her high school. When she discovers a strange clock that seems to be counting down to the earth's destruction, Janelle learns she has twenty-four days to figure out how to stop the clock and save the planet.

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

Lou Clark knows lots of things. She knows how many footsteps there are between the bus stop and home. She knows she likes working in The Buttered Bun tea shop and she knows she might not love her boyfriend Patrick.

What Lou doesn't know is she's about to lose her job or that knowing what's coming is what keeps her sane.

Will Traynor knows his motorcycle accident took away his desire to live. He knows everything feels very small and rather joyless now and he knows exactly how he's going to put a stop to that.

What Will doesn't know is that Lou is about to burst into his world in a riot of colour. And neither of them knows they're going to change the other for all time.

If I get through all of these, I'm not sure what I'll read, but if I do I'll post a update to this post. I hope you all have a great month full of fantastic books!!! Make sure you come back to see my thoughts of each of these books.
