Alright, I tried this once and didn't have a chance to actually do it. So we are going to try this again. I want to start up a book club for my friends and readers. Around where I live there is no book club where adults can chat about great YA books. That frustrates me! I want to be able to chat with friends about these books, not only on my blog.
So that got me thinking why not start a book club right here on my blog. So that is what I'm going to do.
How this is Going To Work

- At the end of each month we will be meeting on Skype to chat about that months book pick and to chat about what book to read the following two months. We will choose books two months in advance.
- You must be 13 years and older to join.
- Please remember, we do sometimes choose topics that are a bit more mature in nature but they will still be YA books. If you think the book we are reading is to mature for you, feel free to opt out that month, we don't mind that.
- Please make sure you have Skype, we don't use vid chat for the book chats but we sometimes use voice and we do use the typing aspect of it.
- Please make sure you get the book we are reading. Just don't steal it lol You can borrow it or buy it, that part is up to you!
- Please make sure you follow Ali's Bookshelf that way you will know if there are any updates about the book club.
- Sometimes, we will have some giveaways just for the Book club. Make sure you are at the meetings every month so you can be entered into a chance to win the giveaways.
We will be meeting for the first time on Skype on March 23rd at 9 PM EST. If you are chosen to be a part of the book club, I will be contacting you and giving you a list of 5 books to vote on for our first choose. I will be posting our first book by Feb. 11th. I will add that choose to this page as soon as I know!
