Review: Convergence by J.D. Watts

Title: Convergence
Author: J.D. Watts
Publisher: TWCS PH
Format: ebook
ISBN #: 098362321X
Audience: Adult Romance

In modern times, mankind believes they know all that there is to know about the world around them. Arrogant in their ignorance, they travel through life completely unaware of the other beings in their midst, the other Children of Creation. Celestial Angels and Fallen walk amongst them unseen, while the third beings of creation, the Guardians, live along side them, protecting them from attacks of the Fallen. Daniella Rossi is a nineteen year old college student who sees the world quite differently than those around her. From infancy, she was aware of the beings that walked among her kind who were not like them, as well as her own personal Guardian who watched over her. Dani always knew she was different, but she never dreamed the full scope of her importance. Follow Dani as her life takes an unexpected turn when a new Guardian is assigned to replace her lifelong companion and friend. Much older, more experienced, and socially awkward, Nathaniel must learn to adjust himself to fit into Dani’s world in order to guard her without drawing unwanted attention. While the Fallen are determined to capture Dani, she and Nathaniel find themselves developing a bond that goes far beyond that of Guardian and charge. Facing the strains of a brewing war and forbidden affections, will they be ready for the coming battle? Will Dani be able to handle the truth of her existence and destiny?

Oh my... Convergence is absolutely one of the best books I've read in a long time.  I couldn't get enough of this Angel~tastic book. I love a book when it pulls me in and makes me fall for the main character, one that seems so real, I love a story that seems as if its a movie reel being played out before me, Convergence does just that.

The main character, Daniella is strong and very stubborn, even when her life is in so much danger. She is so strong willed even when all her loved ones life's are in danger, but I love her and sometimes hated her for it when I read this book.  I wanted to yell at her and shake her, but at the same time what she was doing made so much sense to me and I probably would have done the same thing.  My favorite thing about her is pretty much one of the main parts of the book and that is that Dani can see Angels.  Dani is very special in this story even though most of the story she has no idea just how special she is. She has a special purpose that mainly only the Master knows!

I also love the character Ana, she is so loving, strong, and a great mother like figure to Dani.  She is her guardian and loves Dani very much, even though her type of Angel aren't supposed to have feelings like we do. ( but you need to read the book to know more about that hehe) I loved how connected the Guardian's are to their charges in this story!

Now, lets talk about the main Male character in this story.  OMG I love Nathaniel.  I am totally team Nathaniel right now! This angel is really stuck in his ways till he is taken away from his charge and sent to a whole new place to watch over a new charge who just happens to be Dani.  What he doesn't really think about is that the Masters Plan is in action and he can't really stop what happens.  Yep that's right when you are meant to fall for someone you end up falling for them! But Nathaniel falls for someone that he thinks he's not allowed to fall for.  (going to stop right there before I give way to much away...probably already did!)  Let's just say Nathaniel is my new favorite Angel!!!

Another thing I loved in this book is the ending battle scene.  Asking for help is never a bad thing that is all I'm going to say about the ending because I think you all should read it and see for yourselves.

I do need to repeat what I said yesturday on facebook about this book...I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book!

Convergence, pulled me in from the beginning and kept me there till I read the last word.  I can't wait to read Induction, which is the next book in this series.

So with all that being said, let's take a look at my rating for this fantastic book.

Convergence is a definite 5 puppy book...lets see why I say that...

Plot: 20/20
Characters: 20/20
Creativity: 20/20
Writing: 20/20
Ending: 10/10
Cover: 10/10

100 out of 100 = 5 puppy rating!!

I want to say one more thing about this book.  The way J.D. Watts brings religion into this story is perfect. Thats right I said religion, I mean come on we are talking about Angels which means we talk about religion.  So anyway, J.D. Watts doesn't' force the religion talk down your throat and I love that about this story.  It's in there but its not every other word!
