Readers captivated by Twilight and New Moon will eagerly devour Eclipse, the much anticipated third book in Stephenie Meyer's riveting vampire love saga. As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob —- knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?

Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

First off, I will say Eclipse is my least favorite book in the saga.  With that being said though I still liked it a lot.

In Eclipse, all the main characters, (all the Cullen's) are back.  But now, in this book we see all the wolf pack as well.  We get to learn about them in New Moon yes, but we really get to know them more in this book.

I'm not really a wolf girl, but I do love the character Leah.  She's a strong female character in the wolf pack, well she is the only character that is actually a wolf.  She is the only female in their tribes history to transform into the wolf.  I love how strong she is, how strong willed she is.  Even though she has to be with a pack of guys even one that she once loved and broke her heart (not that he meant too)

I don't want to give to much away about this book, like I did in my review for New Moon, but I did love the how the wolves came to help protect Bella from a new born army of vamps.  That's right I said a new born army of vamps.  I mean Bella can never catch a break in this saga, she's always got something coming after her.

Plus, Victoria is back in this book.  I mean you got to love the bad guy or women that keeps coming back and keeps trying right? NO well at least I tried huh.  All right with all kidding aside, this time Victoria brings the new born army and Riley Beirs to come after Bella.

I do enjoy the new characters that re in this book.  Thats the one thing I definatly did love about Eclipse.  All the new characters, like Riley.  Well that and Edward making a comperise with Bella, but I'm not even going to give that part away!

So lets see this is all the reason's I gave Eclipse a 4 puppy rating...

Plot: 17 /20
Characters: 20/20
Creativity: 17/20
Writing: 15 /20
Ending: 7/10
Cover: 10 /10

Total: 86 out of 100 = 4 Puppy Rating.

So, the other reason I gave Eclipse a 4 puppy rating is because I think the book is a bit over kill, it drags on way to long for me.  But you check this book out if you want too and see what you think.  I still really enjoyed this book and you all know I love the saga dearly.
