Today I have author Molly E. Lee here today share with you all a post about what's on her bookshelf. I love these types of posts, getting to see what other people are reading, planning to read soon, or have already read and loved enough to place on the shelf. So let's get to it!
Hi Ali!
I absolutely love to be asked what is on
my bookshelf because it’s constantly changing! I have two top shelves dedicated
to my all-time favorites—one of them is entirely made up of Harry Potter books
and merch, and the other is a mixture of some of my favorite authors like Molly
McAdams, Kimberly Derting, and Sara J. Maas.
The lower shelves change with what I’m
currently reading and what is up next on the TBR.
Right now the top three hardbacks are:
Children of Blood and Bone
by Tomi Adeyemi—I’m super pumped to crack this one open! I’ve heard nothing but
the best things about this book! Plus I’m a sucker for a new fantasy!
A Court of Frost and Starlight by
Sara J. Maas—This new release has been on my radar forever! I am a huge fan of
this series (A Court of Mist and Fury may be one of my top ten favorite books
of all time) and I’ll be treating myself to these pages the minute I’ve
completed my deadline! Priorities, man! LOL
A Song of Ice and Fire (book one in the Game
of Thrones series) by George R. R.
Martin—This one has been on my list since I fell in love with the show! It’s
completely different from my usual reads, which is something I like to do as
often as I can! I think switching up genres is a great way to get the writer
mind fresh! You never stop learning as an author, and reading is one of the
best things you can do to improve your skills!
I also have a shelf dedicated to the
books I’ve published! I’m so beyond lucky to live this dream and my latest
book, Love Beyond Opposites released
Monday May 7th! It’s a rock star falls for the nerdy girl story that seriously
was SO much fun to write!
I also have two toddlers, so my TBR is
overflowing with things I’m dying to read. There is SO much talent out there to
choose from! So often I wish I was a vampire for the mere fact that I wouldn’t
have to sleep and I could divide my time between family,
writing, and reading ALL the good books J
Have any of you read any of these? Or do
you have a shelf dedicated to a certain series? Will my latest in the epic Grad
Night series—Love Beyond Opposites—be gracing your TBR? Let me know!
Thank you so much for having me!
Thank you so much for stopping by today to share this fantastic list of books with us Molly! I have a few of these on my TBR as well. Love how you have your bookshelves set up.
Might have to try this! I hope you all enjoyed this post as much as I did. Also don't forget about the giveaway and promo post from earlier today as well as pick up your copy of Love Beyond Opposites as soon as you can.
