Marley Rallston would rather be anywhere other than too-small-for-a-map-dot Millhaven, Virginia. But thanks to a heap of debt, what was supposed to be a quick trip to fulfill her mother’s dying wish has turned into an extended stay with the family she never knew she had and the father who never wanted her. To top it off, now she’s being forced to do community service with the town’s biggest bad boy, when all she wants to do is make enough cash to get out of Dodge? Life can’t get much worse. The only thing Greyson Whittaker cares about is his family’s farm. He’ll do anything to keep Whittaker Hollow in the black, including live up to his rough, tough reputation by running the place by himself, no matter the cost. Mandatory community service with the daughter of their biggest rival is the last thing he wants or needs. But the more time Greyson and Marley spend together, the hotter their attraction burns, and the more the unlikely pair begins to realize that forbidden fruit just might taste the sweetest…
Let me start this review off by
saying Wow! Author Kimberly Kincaid has done it again. I've found another favorite
book for this year and another favorite book boyfriend. I've loved this amazing
authors writing since the first book that I've read of Kimberly's,
but this one blew me away. It might be that I grew up on a farm, or that I just
love me some hot farmers, but I think it has more to do with the writing than
anything.
She pulled me right into this story and if I'm being honest I didn't want it to end. I still want to know what
happens to them after the end. That to me lets you know as a reader how much
you really connected and loved a book. I really love books that I can
also connect with the characters and I really connected with Marley in this book.
She's a lot like me in a few different ways and that just made reading my way
through this book even better. It also had me rooting for the couple right away!
Author Kimberly Kincaid created
this family story and it's one that you will want to read from the beginning
and that's exactly what I did. Though like I said above this one has become my
favorite one of the series so far. I must also say how amazing this book cover
is! I'm pretty sure you all will agree with me. HA HA!
The best part of this whole book and series is the connection
throughout this whole family! I love family books and when all the stories
connect one family that just pulls me into the story even more. I also really enjoy their love of their family farm and how they work together to make it better. This book is no
exception to that. You get to see all the family connection and what family
really means to each of them.
If you love family and a book chalk
full of sweet romance, then Crossing Hope is for you. Also if you haven't read
the other books in this series, what are you waiting for? Seriously, get your
copies today and read! Today is also the book birthday for Crossing Hope so I want to say a huge congrats to author Kimberly Kincaid, you've wrote another fantastic book!
As you can see above, I'm giving Crossing Hope by Kimberly Kincaid an Ali's Bookshelf...
Kimberly Kincaid writes
contemporary romance that splits the difference between sexy and sweet.
When she’s not sitting cross-legged in an ancient desk chair known as
“The Pleather Bomber”, she can be found practicing obscene amounts of
yoga, whipping up anything from enchiladas to éclairs in her kitchen, or
curled up with her nose in a book. Kimberly is a USA Today best-selling
author and a 2015 RWA RITA® finalist who lives (and writes!) by the
mantra that food is love. Kimberly resides in Virginia with her wildly
patient husband and their three daughters.
