From the USA Today bestselling author of The Christmas Sisters comes this funny, charming and heartwarming all new original Christmas novel. This is Sarah Morgan at her festive best!
In
the snowy perfection of Aspen, the White family gathers for youngest
daughter Rosie’s whirlwind Christmas wedding. First to arrive are the
bride’s parents, Maggie and Nick. Their daughter’s marriage is a
milestone they are determined to celebrate wholeheartedly, but they are
hiding a huge secret of their own: they are on the brink of divorce.
After living apart for the last six months, the last thing they need is
to be trapped together in an irresistibly romantic winter wonderland.
Rosie’s
older sister, Katie, is also dreading the wedding. Worried that
impulsive, sweet-hearted Rosie is making a mistake, Katie is determined
to save her sister from herself! If only the irritatingly good-looking
best man, Jordan, would stop interfering with her plans…
Bride-to-be
Rosie loves her fiancé but is having serious second thoughts. Except
everyone has arrived—how can she tell them she’s not sure? As the big
day gets closer, and emotions run even higher, this is one White family
Christmas none of them will ever forget!
As soon as I saw the title and read the summary of this one I knew I wanted to add it to my list for this tour. (Yep I said list, I wanted to review four books for this one to be exact!) If you didn't know already I love Christmas, throw in a wedding and love story and I'm hooked. My parents were married in December, which makes reading this all the more enjoyable. So if you couldn't tell I was super siked to read this one.
While reading A Wedding in December, I was caught up in all the whirlwind of everyone's secrets and all the different ups and downs for these characters. I loved the writing style and how the words just seemed to flow on each page. I will say I was yelling at my book at one point, girl if you're having second thoughts you go with your gut feeling. (I learned that one the hard way!)
I really enjoyed reading how this whole story unfolded and it felt like I was right there with them. Which makes reading any book all the more enjoyable. I had to know what was going to happen next and every turn I wasn't really sure how it was all going to work out or if it even was.
Author Sarah Morgan did it again as she pulled me in, made me love the characters and didn't let me leave this story even after it was finished. I love that about her writing! Another fantastic book by an amazing storyteller.
If you haven't read A Wedding in December, get your copy today, you won't be dissapointed!
I'm giving A Wedding in December an Ali's Bookshelf rating of...
