Review
First off, if you haven't heard of these books...Where have you been? Second, make sure you check out my review for Fifty Shades of Grey. Third, please realize that this is a BDSM romance book, so there is some graphic nature to this book.
Alright let's talk about Fifty Shades Darker, I was so excited when I finally got my paperback copies of these books. I had already read the first book in the series so I started reading the second book right away.
Adult books like the Fifty Shades Trilogy aren't usually what I read/review but, i couldn't help myself. Fifty Shades Darker lived up to the hype in my eyes. I loved this one just as much as the first one. Fifty Shades Darker picks right back up where Fifty Shades of Grey left off, not leaving a single gap in between.
As I read more about Anna and Christan I pulled for them to get back together. I found myself begging for it. Once they were they of course had so much to work through and this book shows them doing that. Just like the first book, I really enjoyed reading their emails back in forth. Plus in this book Christian is still battling with his past demons and Anna is trying her best to prove herself in the publishing world.
I will say the timeline in this book threw me a bit for a loop. But sometimes life actually works like this and things happen fast before your eyes, so I just went with it.
Fifty Shades Darker had me laughing one minute and crying the next. Especially when everyone thinks he is gone, that scene just about killed me. I'm sure it will do the same for you. Warning through, at some points I wanted to scream and throw my book because I was so made with the characters, but that to me makes it a great book. This series is very addicting as you follow their relationship, so if you haven't read these books, just give tit a try you might actually like them. I know I do!
