Sawyer The only doctor in Buckhorn County, Kentucky, Sawyer Hudson knows a thing or two about saving lives. But when he rescues the beautiful Honey Malone from a car wreck and nurses her to health at his home, he finds himself dreading the day she's well enough to leave. Because now that he's met the woman of his dreams, he's not about to let her go. Morgan Buckhorn's big, bad sheriff, Morgan Hudson, wants a wife; one who's even-tempered, undemanding and content with small-town life. So why can't he stop thinking about brazen Misty Malone? The dark-haired city girl is downright aggravating not to mention she's found herself on the wrong side of the law. But though she may not be perfect, Morgan is hell-bent on convincing her they'd be perfect together!
First off, I want to start off this review by saying that this book is two books in one. The first two books in this incredible series by author Lori Foster. I also want to start off by saying that this book is set in the state I live so hell yeah!
Alright, time for the actual review. Buckhorn Beginnings features two of the brothers in this family the first one being Sawyer and the other being Morgan, following them as they find their true loves and all throughout the romance of each of these chivalrous men. I don't mean kind, I literally mean their momma brought them up right, opening doors for women and treating them like they are queen's kind of chivalrous men. That was one of the things that really drew me into this book. They were those men that you really wanted to just wrap your arms around them and say MINE!
Also, the back stories for each brother isn't what I expected, but that just made me love them even more as well. Sawyer is the town doctor and the way he meets Honey isn't a way you would think would spark romance, but it did and Honey and him fell in love, even though it took Sawyer a bit to see it. As for Morgan, which is my favorite of the two, he's the town sheriff who everyone in the town loves and respects. He's not all that kind, but once Misty Malone comes into his life, he's a goner. Even though she tries hard to fight against the feelings. I also find it interesting how Lori intertwined the sisters right into the brothers lives, oh yeah Misty and Honey are sisters, you did hear me right.
All in all this book is filled with romance, steamy hot love *wipes the drool off my face* (you all didn't see that right?), and sometimes even a bit of laugh out loud funny moments. I loved reading every word of this book and just a heads up, you will want the next two stories in the series right away. I know I did and I'm reading them right now. Lori Foster, you won me over with these hot steamy gentlemanly brothers. I can't wait to read more.
I also want to take a moment and talk about the recorded version of this book, which is what I listened to. I actually did both, read and listened to it at the same time. But I must say the voice of
Isabelle Gordon really fit perfectly to this series. I enjoyed her reading the brothers parts and Honey's voice as well. She helped bring the book to life as I listened to her read the words.

I seriously couldn't put this book down or stop listening to it till the last word was finished. Put it this way, once it was over I went straight to the website and got the next one. I highly recommend this one to any romance reader out there.
Happy Reading!!!
