A blogger's first name should be in a prominent place on his/her blog.

I used to say no, but now I fully agree. It doesn't actually have to be their real name, but having a bloggers name to connect with the blog is a good thing. It helps your readers connect with you! It also helps with publishing companies and the connection between authors and bloggers as well.
