Beatrice "Tris" Prior has reached the fateful age of sixteen, the stage at which teenagers in Veronica Roth's dystopian Chicago must select which of five factions to join for life. Each faction represents a virtue: Candor, Abnegation, Dauntless, Amity, and Erudite. To the surprise of herself and her selfless Abnegation family, she chooses Dauntless, the path of courage. Her choice exposes her to the demanding, violent initiation rites of this group, but it also threatens to expose a personal secret that could place in mortal danger. Veronica Roth's young adult Divergent trilogy launches with a captivating adventure about love and loyalty playing out under most extreme circumstances.

Review:

What can I say that will even come close to describing this book and why I love it? I have no clue how to even come close to telling you why, but I'm going to try my best.

I loved Divergent and the action in this story is so compelling that after the first couple of pages I was so drawled in that I couldn't stop reading, even to go eat! I had to keep reading because every word on every single page brought me more answers and more questions of what was to come.

Veronica Roth is so talented and brought us a detailed packed story that is filled with war, deceit, trust, friendship and even love! Veronica Roth weaved a story for her readers that was more like a movie than a book.

Divergent is now added to one of my favorite books of all times! The characters of Divergent are so fully developed and I couldn't help but root for them or boo the bad guys! I defiantly think its one of my my favorite dystopian books that I have read!

Each person in this book had to choose which faction they will be and each faction is known for something.  I think it took a lot of imagination and thought that had to go into this book because each faction has its own little detail and quality.   While reading this book I never knew what was going to happen next and it was so hard to even try to guess! If you like those kinds of books then Divergent will be perfect for you!

I hope you will pick up this book and read it if you haven't! Trust me you wont be sorry.

100 out of 100 = 5 Puppy Rating!

All the way through the book and to the end I was dying for more reading this book, I'm so excited that the second book in this series is already out so I can continue to read more about these characters.   I usually try not to give 5 ratings unless the book was fantastic beyond belief and Divergent defiantly didn't disappoint!
