Week In A Glance

Ali's Week at a Glance is where I get to share with you somethings that aren't blog related and showcase books I've received this week as well as ones I've read. I also like to add a few other things to this post as well every week.

So this past week was pretty normal other than all the freakin rain! Last weekend though was so much fun. Took a small day trip down in Kentucky to the Jim Beam distillary and took the two hour tour to see how everything was made. Even got to bottle my own bottle and had my named etched on it. Thought it was really cool and had a great time. Of course I had a few drinks to go along with that as well. Must say Jim Beam Apple is really good!!!

Other than that it's been a pretty easy week. Oh and I did get a chance to finally see the movie Wonder and LOVED IT! I cried so much during that movie, but honestly I can't wait to read the book. (Probably should have done that first but oh well!)

This week I'm going to just skip the book haul part because I am actually going to do a whole post about the books I've recieved. So let's just jump right into upcoming reviews!

Next month we have reviews for Scythe and Otherworld along with a few mini me corner reviews as well. So keep an eye out for those. I will also be posting reviews for the Wayward Children books. Which I'm loving so far I must say.

My main goal this month for FitReaders was to take better care of myself and I've done pretty good so far. I am still getting my 10,000 steps a day in and I'm thinking of moving that up to 15,000 for April. Not sure yet though.

I posted a lot of pictures on Instagram this past week, but my favorite would have to be this one. Mainly because it's of my set up in my Bullet Journal for March! I'm loving all the colors! If you don't know I use a Bullet Journal to stay organized and even my blog organization is now been moved into my Bullet Journal.

Though this one would come in close second. Mainly Because I had so much fun that day at Jim Beam.

Week At A Glance

Let's talk about what's been going on this past week, shall we? My week totally sucked, I ended up with the flu and didn't get much done at all. Not even in the reading department, even though I was at home I just didn't feel good enough to read at all. Which totally sucks because I really wanted to finish Messenger by Lois Lowry, but hopefully I can finish that this upcoming week and start something new.

I'm hoping that I'm almost over the flu, cross your fingers for me, please.

So this week was a pretty good week of blogging, even though I did have the flu. I had a few blog posts already scheduled luckily.

So this week I picked up a few new arcs from Netgalley that I'm super excited about. Though I have made a promise to myself that I will slow down on my requests through NetGalley, it's really hard though lol. I made this promise because I have so many books that I already own that I want to read and seem to never get to because of other books.

So since I had the flu this week I didn't get many steps in at all. Which really sucks!

Yep that's for the whole week. I didn't move much at all. Hopefully this next week I can get back into the groove and get my steps back up where they have been.

I love this quote so much that I had to share it on Instagram this week. I didn't really have a chance to take a lot of pics with being sick, but I did manage this one.

Week at a Glance

Alright so this week has been a bit crazy for me, with the weather around here and the kids being off school on Friday it was nuts. I also ended up getting sick this week, which just made it all worse. Anyway, I did have a great reading week. I read two books this week! These two books are also for the same series so I'm working on one of my goals for the year of finishing some of the series that I own.

What I Read This Week

I read both of these for Bout of Books Read-A-thon which actually ends today. Plus these two books became my first two reads of the year.

I bought the whole box set on Amazon right after Christmas and I plan to read the whole series ASAP! I'm on book three now and loving it so far.

This Week at a Glance

This post is a chance to showcase some things that happened here on the blog this week and some things that happened in real life this week. Also it's to showcase some of the amazing books that I recieved as well as read.

This week has been amazing! I'm still down in Florida and my lovely, amazing, spectacular friend came up to see me. We both got to tick something off our bucket lists and we did it together.

I had so much fun! The bottom two are with our guides John and Amelia. They were hilarious. We went flying through 9 zip lines, 2 rope bridges and a repel. The views were so beautiful and everywhere you looked was something even more amazing. This was something that had been on my bucketlist for so long and I'm so happy that I got to do this with one of my best friends! I was super excited to see her and get to spend a few days with her. Britta we have to do this again and soon!!!
