There’s something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.
Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He’s the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.
Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce–and goes out of his way to make that very clear–she can’t let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.
As soon as I picked up Fallen by Lauren Kate I was in love with it. The characters were ones that had to overcome major obstacles to get where they were and had some major past stories to bring with them. Luce is strong and very much in love. The only thing is the one she loves is trying hard to protect her. I love the way Lauren Kate writes, she writes with such passion. A passion that makes you keep coming back for more. I couldn't put this book down and I read it in one day. Simple put with one word. LOVE!!! It's the first Angel book that I have loved so far.
I can't get enough of the characters in this book, especially Daniel *swoon*. Who wouldn't want an angel boyfriend, even if he is a fallen one! *snickers* I even loved Cam in this book. ( I wonder if any of you can tell me why I fell in love with Cam?)
There are so many twists and turns in this book that you will run back to it if you try to put it down. I know I did. Penn, Arriane, and Gabbe are some other amazing characters in this book. I love Arriane personality and Penn's befriending ways. I only wish I had some friends like these.
Trust me when I say this is a must read if you haven't. Fallen is the first book in a series...two more of these amazing books are out for you to get in your hands as well. Torment and Passion are the next two books in this series. I love the covers of these books as well. I mean look at the pic above. Beautiful.
What if the person you were meant to be with could never be yours?
I haven't read a book like this before, it made me cry at times and laugh at others. So with all that being said... I give this amazing book a...
