Review:
Alright, I must first say how much I enjoyed this book. I really liked so much about this book: the setting, the characters, the plot. All of it made this book fantastic. I really enjoyed reading my first Steampunk book and can't wait to read more.
But, with that being said there were a few things that I didn't enjoy. Yes I know, its hard to find a book that there isn't at least one thing that I don't like. So don't get me wrong when I say this, the book is fabulous. The first thing I didn't like and will be taking off for is that the author does a lot of telling but not showing. I like to be able to see a story in my head as I'm reading and it was really hard to do that with this one in places. The other thing I didn't really like, but its not that bad is it felt like it dragged a bit, but not so much that I put the book down and forget about it.
I really enjoyed all the Twists in this story though, I love a book that keeps me guessing whats actually going to happen next. I was very happy with the ending and will defiantly be reading the next book in the series. I actually already have it on my 2013 reading list so look forward to that review soon as well.
I would recommend this book to my friends that like darker stories.
