Book Blogger Hop #17

I haven't posted one of these posts in awhile but I love the converstations they start, so I wanted to get back into posting these again. Book Blogger Hop is another post I'm going to be trying out and this one has a topic each week, which is something I've been trying to bring to the blog. I'm really excited about this one because I have a hard time coming up with something fresh to talk about and I'm hoping this helps.

How do you organize your blog in terms of what is in your side bar? Do you have categories and defined sections in your side bar? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)

Well when it comes to Ali's Bookshelf, I do use tags, each of my posts are tagged. As far as my sidebars, I add what I feel will catch my readers attention. I have a few reviews at the top that are some of my favorites. I have a few of my topic posts on my sidebar that you can click on the image and it's linked to take you directly to that post. My sidebars are a bit ecclectic, a mixture of everything. Each section is defined and titled so you can see what each part is.

I love your sidebar, in fact I love your whole page! These, prompts are really nice because they give you a chance to chat with others who may have a like interest. Anyway, as I've been reading these responses, I've noticed that some people list favorite blogs, that might be something interesting to add to your sidebar!

Awe thank you! I love them too. The chat aspect of these discussion posts is the exact reason I love posting them. I used to list favorite blogs, but a few people got hurt because I didn't have them on there and my list ended up being huge!

I probably should work on better organizing my labels/tags, but that would be a huge project. Over the years I've gone from a lot to less to where I am now. I don't know that I'm particularly organized, but trying to make it easier for people to find stuff should they want to. I like what you've done here.
