So I've been wanting to add some different types of reviews here on the blog and one idea I had was to review some of my favorite TV Shows, one of which is the new show on E called The Royals. Today I want to introduce the show to the ones that haven't heard of it or just haven't watched it. I've watched all the first five episodes and have loved it so far, so let's get right down to it.
Show: The Royals
When it airs: Sunday Nights at 10 PM EST on the E Network
A drama about a fictional royal family in modern-day London revolves around what goes on behind closed doors of the palace and how they handle the youngest heir to the throne falling in love with an American girl from a different social class.
This series is directed by Arlene Sandford, Mark Schwahn and Jean de Segonzac. Written by Michelle Ray, Mark Schwahn, Julia Cohen, and Johnny Richardson.

The King:
The Prince:
The Princess:

There are tons of other supporting characters as well, other family members and security, but for now let's just talk about these. I love the casting for this show, each member is perfect when it comes to the part they are playing. I will say that I'm enjoying the prince in this one, the movie I remember him most in of course is Narnia, but he's fantastic in this show. Really love the Princess too though, she is my favorite character on the show so far. All together these make up a fantastic and memorable cast.
For the next several weeks I'm going to be recapping the episodes, so far there are 5 of them and I'm going to try to get caught up between this week and next. So get ready for some great TV reviews here on Ali's Bookshelf!
I really hope you enjoy these reviews as much as I'm enjoying this show. I'm also going to try to start reviewing Game of Thrones and more movies. I'm hoping to have the first three episode reviews will be posted this weekend.
If you have seen The Royals on E, what do you think of the cast so far?
