THE SERIES WITH OVER A MILLION COPIES SOLD Volume 1 in the bestselling Arrangement Serials Genre: New Adult Romance Series FML is becoming Avery's motto. Just when she doesn't think things could get any worse, they do. When her car stalls out at a busy intersection and she gets out to check under the hood, a guy steals her car. Armed with a dress and a pair of Chucks, Avery runs after the thief. When a hot stranger offers to help, she can't say no. That's how Avery meets Sean Ferro, the totally sexy, totally damaged guy with more secrets than she has time for. Avery doesn't have time for anything anymore. Her is life falling apart and it's not just the car. It's everything, and it doesn't matter how tightly she tries to hold on, there's nothing left to hold on to. With the sudden death of her parents, it's only a matter of months until Avery's shot at college is gone, and she's living in a cardboard box. Other students have their families to rely on when things get bad. Avery has no one. But there's one option, one incredibly sexy, morally devoid, option. If Avery takes a job as a call girl, one guy could save her. One client. One time. She just has to say yes.

Okay, I'm going to be really honest with my readers right now.  I bought this first book knowing that the whole story came in a bunch of short segments and at first I was okay with that.  Now looking at it, I'm not. As a reader, after buying the first two small ebooks, I was ready to give up and stop reading. With that being said, I'm going to go ahead and review the first book and probably stop there.  I haven't read past the fourth and I'm not going to due to the fact that the book could be one book and sell just fine.  I would pay 15 to 20 dollars if the book was all together, instead of 54$ for all 18 small portions.  That's 2.99$ for 100 pages.  When I added that up, I got a little upset that I would have to pay so much for a bunch of small ebooks.  These could be .99 cents each and I more than likely wouldn't complain.

With all of that said, it's time to talk about the actual small portion of this story in book number 1.  This is an audio book review as well, so I'll be talking about the audio portion later in the review.  The first thing I want to discuss is the characters in this book and honestly, when I first started reading this first book, I fell in love with it's characters.  I really enjoyed reading and finding out what they were going to do next.  Avery was a character that I really connected with and wanted to know if she could pull off what she was trying to do.  Could she be the call girl?

The writing in The Arrangement, could have been a bit better but it was good enough to keep my attention.  It was a bit scattered at points, but then again it was more the character herself than the writing.   I also think 100 pages for one story isn't enough to grab a readers attention, I think the only reason I kept reading is because I didn't have enough to make up my mind in the first book.

Next, I want to talk about the cover.  That's the first thing that really made me want to read these books.  The cover is perfection.  The black and white image gives you just enough of their faces that make you want to know more about the characters.  Then you get just a touch of pink in the title that pulls it all together and catches your eyes.

Now let's talk about the audio, I really enjoyed this part of reading the book.  I had gotten the deal with audible and had the ebook to read along with while I listened to the story.  The voice that recorded this book sounded great with the story and I enjoyed hearing the main characters voice come through the speakers.

All in all, I'm not sure if I really enjoyed this book mainly because of how I feel about how it's broken down and as far as price.  I'm not one to complain about price usually and I'm not saying it's the authors fault at all, but to me when I added that up, it just hit me the wrong way.  This is a self pub book though, so honestly the author has a say in the price.  I also know I'm not the only one that has complained about this.  There has to be a way to compile the story and make it cheaper.

I'm going to give The Arrangement part 1 an Ali's Bookshelf

I'm giving it a 2 and a half due to the facts above, it's not just the price.  The writing is a bit scattered and not enough story in one book. The story was good, but after everything it wasn't great enough to make me want to keep going.
