After setting out to break the curse that binds them together, the pirate Ananna and the assassin Naji find themselves stranded on an enchanted island in the north with nothing but a sword, their wits, and the secret to breaking the curse: complete three impossible tasks. With the help of their friend Marjani and a rather unusual ally, Ananna and Naji make their way south again, seeking what seems to be beyond their reach. Unfortunately, Naji has enemies from the shadowy world known as the Mists, and Ananna must still face the repercussions of going up against the Pirate Confederation. Together, Naji and Ananna must break the curse, escape their enemies — and come to terms with their growing romantic attraction.

You know when you pick up a book and you stare at it like I knew that was coming, yeah author Cassandra Rose Clarke and her The Assassin's Curse Series isn't those type of books.  This fantastic author did it again with The Pirates Curse and I for one loved every second it took me to read this one.

This book pretty much picks up right where we were left in The Assassin's Curse and for that I was so thankful, I couldn't wait to find out what happened next and if she would have skipped ahead I would have been upset. Every single situation that they were trying to fix continued on in The Pirates Wish and the plot and characters were just as fabulous, which some times in the second book in a series doesn't always happen.

My favorite part in The Pirates Wish was sort of predictable but I still loved it.  The pirates that show up are exactly who she needed at the time and when I read it I honestly smiled so big.  I don't want to give anymore away than that for those that haven't read it.  But I hope you all enjoy that part as much as I did.  Also this book like The Assassin's Curse, really it's not predictable like most books I've read, yes that one part was but mostly everything else isn't.

Let's talk about the romance in this series/book, it's not in your face fall in love right away romance, which I really liked as well.  I was actually thankful for it, mainly because I can't stand Instalove, but the other reason was that I loved watching their love grow with each step and path they took together.  I was rooting for them from the beginning and I was so happy when it finally happened.  I will say I want more of these characters and want to know more.  Sadly that more than likely wont happen for a while seeing as the publisher shut down and the author has to wait for the rights, but one day I hope it happens.

With everything said, I really loved this series and this authors writing style.  I would highly recommend it to anyone that loved The Assassin's Curse and if you haven't read The Assassin's Curse, this whole series is a must read!

Again it's pretty obvious what I'm going to rate this book, so let's just get to it.
