Month at a Glance: March

March has been a crazy month, so much going on and so many book releated things as well. Some of it great and some of it bad, but overall March has been a pretty good month this year.  I can't believe it's already spring, it's crazy when you look back at a year and see how fast it goes by. Just shows us that we should charish every moment of every day.

Alright enough of the sappy, let's get down to business shall we!

Let's talk about the books I read this month and see how I actually did.

This month I read three young adult books and three children's books for review. That's actually not as bad as I had thought.

Most of these have been reviewed or will be reviewed on my blog soon.

These are just a few of the posts I really enjoyed this month on the blog. I'm really enjoying all of the discussion posts I've been doing lately and I hope you all feel the same.

  • What Ali's Been Watching Lately
  • Review: Scythe
  • Ali Talks: Five Books That Have Been On My Shelf The Longest
  • Spring Bloggiesta Sign Up and Goals
  • Ali Talks: Advice For New Book Bloggers
  • Review: Hello Stranger
  • Review: Every Heart A Doorway
  • Ali Talks: Reading Your Backlist
  • Ali Talks: How My Reading Habits Have Changed

Like I said the other day, I've really started posting more this past month, which makes me so happy!

I wasn't on Instagram much this past month, but I have started learning more about Instagram stories and plan to be on that a lot more this upcoming month. So make sure you're following me, to do so CLICK HERE!

My favorite image I took this month was one of my currently reading images...

I love taking pictures on Instagram, espcially when it comes to books, though I do share other images on there sometimes as well.

So that was the month of March, can't believe it's almost April already, where does the time actually go? Anyway, I hope you all had a great March and I hope you all have a fantastic April!

Reading Challenge

Now let's talk about my reading challenge, I'm still behind, but I'm getting caught up! July is going to be my month of reading, mainly because I'm going on vacation.  I decided early in the year to keep my challenge goal low this year, due to a huge reading slump last year, hopefully, I can reach the goal and surpass it! We shall see.

 Hello, July!

So July is going to be full of fun, we are leaving on our usual Flordia trip this month and will be gone for three weeks! Yep, I said three. Don't worry my computer is going with me so there will still be posts going live, actually, I already have several scheduled to go live for you during those weeks! YAY me. Anyway, I just posted my Summer TBR and the books on that list are the ones I'm taking with me on vacation.  If you haven't read that post, go check it out. I'm taking some great books with me.

There will be plenty of reviews going live as well this month, but a very special discussion post as well will be posted in July about reviews and if we should still post them. Are they worth the time? So stay tuned for that post this month. July is going to be super busy but super fun!

So what are your thoughts on how fast June passed us by? Do you have any upcoming releases that you're super excited about? I know I have several.

Hope you all have a great Sunday!

Each of these images came from Instagram throughout the month of January.

This one is actually from today! I'm getting ready for #InCoWriMo.  Had to find a bunch of writing materials and cards. In February I'll be writing a letter every day and mailing it out to my lovely pen pals and other people that I don't even know.  Some military men and women overseas are just a few people that my letters will be going to.

These books are a glimpse of books that I'll be reading in the next several weeks.

This is an instagram pick that I took to showcase a post I made on the blog.  It's one of the first #blogflashdaily posts!

This lovely book stack was some of the books I've received lately.  Aren't they pretty?

Just one of the books I have recieved to review for Mini Me Corner.  This one will be reviewed soon!
