It's time for another discussion post and this time it's a topic I've been seeing a lot about on Facebook recently. So let's talk Re-Reads! Who of you re-reads books? I know I do, one series in particular every single year. I usually read one book for the series every month till I finish the whole seven books. I'm pretty sure you all can guess which series I'm talking about now.

If not here's a hint, boy with a scar on his forehead. Yep it's Harry Potter. I'm getting ready to start book one in a few days and after the recent death of Alan Rickman, I'm really in the mood to re-read the series.

I know some of you are asking, why do I re-read the whole series? Well for one thing I love the Harry Potter world so much and this year I'm reading them with my kids, so I'm super excited about it. Other than that, they are some of my all time favorite books. I enjoy getting to relive the story over and over again. Funny thing is I always find one thing that I either forgot or I don't think I realized the first few times I've read it. I do the same thing with the movies.
I have a few other books that I like to re-read as well, The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton is one that I have been re-reading since High School. Another great book that I re-read is The Giver by Lois Lowry. It's another book that I've read a few times, but not every year. I fell in love with this book in middle school.
So I guess my question now is, are there any books that you like to re-read or have re-read in the past? Are you like me and re-read a whole series every year? I would really like to know your thoughts on re-reading books.
