So for those of you wondering what this is or haven't seen this kind of
post, #BlogFlashDaily is a image prompted post that started as a one
month topic image post where you blogged daily for that whole month.
Now it's a daily thing, but not only limited to one month. For more
details head over to author Terri Giuliao Long's blog.
I'm not sure if I'm actually going to post this every day or when I have
inspiration, but it's a post that is supposed to get you writing. The
other reason I want to start posting some of these type posts is mainly
it's something a bit different on the blog and it's up to you what you
write, be it a story or just a few lines about the image.
So for this post, it's not exactly today's image it's yesterday's instead, but I already had so many posts yesterday so I figured I would post this one today. Then possibly two tomorrow!
Anyway, I'm pretty sure you can figure out what this image is. The topic added to the image is Reading List! Now you get why I really wanted do a post about this image. Today I'm going to share with you a small version of my reading list for this week and possibly the next few as well. My TBR list is huge, but this year I've decided to just read what it is that I really want to read. So I've cut back on getting books from Netgalley and I only request something I really think I'll enjoy. Each of these books in my list aren't in any order and are either books that I have sitting out and ready to read or books that I'm wanting to read in the next several months.
Also this is just a few of the books on my list, if I listed them all we would be here all day!
Reading List:
Alienated by Melissa Landers
This book is our book club pick for February, so I'll be starting this one the first of the month. Alienated has been on my bookshelf for awhile and that's why I have chosen it to read in February! I also have the second book in the series already, so I might go ahead and read that one after I finish this one. We shall see! I love this cover, it's actually one of my all time favorites. I can't wait to start reading this series.
The Secret to Letting Go by Katherine Fleet
This book is one that I'm so excited to read, I received this from the publisher, Entangled Publishing from Netgally! I'm starting this one right away, seeing as it's being released February 1st and I want to post my review that same week. The description sounds fantastic and so far, from the first five pages I'm loving the writing style.
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater (The Raven Cycle)
So this is another book that's been on my shelf for awhile and I have the whole series so far, the next book in the series comes out here soon and I want to have these three already read before that happens. That way I can just jump right back into the world and read the fourth book. I'm also pretty sure it's the final book of the series so I'll actually have finished one series this year, which is another goal of mine. To read complete series, I want to actually read about five total at least this year. I have the first book in this series from Audible and the other two in Hardcover and paperback.
White Cat by Holly Black
This is another series that I'm wanting to read this year. I have all three books already so I'm going to try to marathon through them. I've heard some great things about this series and some bad, so we will have to wait and see what I think. They are also books that have been sitting on my shelf for awhile, so they are another series of must read books for me this year.
Broken Dolls by Tyrolin Puxty
This is a book that I've heard amazing things about and I can't wait to read it. Not sure exactly when I'll get to it in the next few months, but I really want to. It's not the type of book I normally read, but it sounds amazing!
Some Other Mentions and Might Read Soon Books!
Gone Too Far by Natalie D. Richards
Hidden Wings by Cameo Renea
Hourglass by Myra McEntire
The Distance Between Us by Kasie West
Like I said this is just a few books that are sitting on my Reading list right now. I'm hoping to get to most of these my the end of March. Hopefully I can!
