Who would have guessed that four minutes could change everything?
Today should be one of the worst days of seventeen-year-old Hadley Sullivan's life. Having missed her flight, she's stuck at JFK airport and late to her father's second wedding, which is taking place in London and involves a soon-to-be stepmother Hadley's never even met. Then she meets the perfect boy in the airport's cramped waiting area. His name is Oliver, he's British, and he's sitting in her row.
A long night on the plane passes in the blink of an eye, and Hadley and Oliver lose track of each other in the airport chaos upon arrival. Can fate intervene to bring them together once more?
Quirks of timing play out in this romantic and cinematic novel about family connections, second chances, and first loves. Set over a twenty-four-hour-period, Hadley and Oliver's story will make you believe that true love finds you when you're least expecting it.
Review:
When I first picked up this book at Walmart, I thought what a long title and I thought how the cover was so cute. So I ended up buying this book, of course. I'm a sucker for a cute cover.
Now, let's chat about the actual story shall we, I really loved this story from start to finish. The whole story is placed during a 24 hour span of time. Which I really thought was interesting. I usually have to be in the mood to read Contemporary YA but this one grabbed ah old of me and wouldn't let go.
I really enjoyed how all it took was for the main character to miss her plane and all of this took place. This is one Contemporary YA that I wouldn't mind reading again and again. I must say I really love Oliver in this book, he's so sweet and nice to our main character, Hadley. This was a short read, when I say short I read it in a couple of hours. But fair warning once you start it you wont want to stop.
